After graduating from the Musikhochschule Wien, he founded the &#8220;o(h)!-ton Ensemble, Wien&#8221; in 2003. That same year he began his studies at the Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, in the classes of Klaus Maetzl and Christian Altenburger, graduating in 2011 with distinction. Johannes received scholarships from the &#8220;Angelika-Prokopp- Foundation of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra&#8221; and the &#8220;Tokyo Foundation.&#8221; He then continued his studies with Johannes Meissl and Hatto Beyerle, specializing in chamber music. He also attended masterclas with Evgenia Epshtein, Erich H\u00f6barth, Rainer Honeck, Andr\u00e1s Keller, Peter Nagy, Ruggiero Ricci, and Andr\u00e1s Schiff. In May 2009, Johannes Fleischmann made his debut with the Brahms Violin Concerto at the Vienna Konzerthaus. As a camersita, Johannes has worked with such renowned artists as Christian Altenburger, Rainer K\u00fcchl, Sergey Malov, Reinhard Latzko, C\u00e9dric Pescia, Andr\u00e9 Cazalet, Johannes Meissl, Fran\u00e7ois Benda, and members of the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonics. He has participated in festivals such as the &#8220;International Musicians Seminar Prussia Cove,&#8221; the &#8220;Europ\u00e4ische Kulturtagen Frankfurt,&#8221; &#8220;Attersee Klassik,&#8221; the &#8220;Festival Pablo Casals de Prades,&#8221; the &#8220;Steirische Kammermusik Festival,&#8221; and the &#8220;Quincena Musical de San Sebasti\u00e1n,&#8221; and has performed in many halls, including the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Brucknerhaus in Linz, Carnegie Hall in New York, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, and the Flagey in Brussels. In addition to his many engagements as a soloist and chamber musician, he has been a regular guest of renowned orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic. These collaborations have allowed him to work closely with such personalities as Daniel Barenboim, Sir Colin Davis, Valery Gergiev, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Mariss Jansons, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, Georges Pr\u00eatre, Sir Simon Rattle, and Christian Thielemann. Fleischmann has recorded frequently for radio and television, including ZDF, ARD, RBB, MDR, ORG, \u00d61, Radio Stephansdom and National Radio Slovenia. Appointed by the Austrian Foreign Minister as ambassador for NASOM (New Austrian Sound of Music), he has toured extensively on almost every continent. An &#8220;incredible chamber music performance&#8221; also earned him the &#8220;Piano Chamber Music Award&#8221; at the 2014 ISA-Festival with Philippe Raskin.
