{"id":12126,"date":"2021-07-20T15:37:15","date_gmt":"2021-07-20T13:37:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asiagofestival.it\/archivio\/enrico-zanovello\/"},"modified":"2025-07-09T12:01:30","modified_gmt":"2025-07-09T10:01:30","slug":"enrico-zanovello","status":"publish","type":"dt_portfolio","link":"https:\/\/asiagofestival.it\/en\/archivio\/enrico-zanovello\/","title":{"rendered":"Enrico Zanovello"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>ENRICO ZANOVELLO<\/h4>\n<h5>organ<\/h5>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enrico Zanovello&#8217;s artistic and musical personality has developed through a varied and rich path of experiences; alongside organ and harpsichord diplomas with Stefano Innocenti and Andrea Marcon, he followed university studies in the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy at the University of Padua.<br \/>\nHis artistic career sees him present as a conductor and organ recitalist in prestigious European and American festivals (Organ Recitals: Washington Cathedrals, Notre-Dame-Paris, Warsaw, Brugge, Edinburgh, St.Ouen in Rouen, Bratislava, Helsinki, Malaga, Tonsberg-Norway, Lausanne, etc.) and in the most important European and American festivals. Direction: Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Opera House in Cairo, Basilica in Aquileia, Asamkirke in Ingolstadt, Philharmonic Hall in Trento, Cathedral in Brescia, Schola Grande in S. Rocco-Venice, etc.)<br \/>\nConducts research aimed at rediscovering and enhancing little-known composers, works for the critical edition and premiere recording of works such as op. 3 by G.B. Grazioli, the Concertos of Giovanni and Gaetano Meneghetti, the Chamber Music of Gellio Coronaro and others.<br \/>\nHe founded and has been conducting since 1989 the Andrea Palladio Baroque Orchestra, which was joined in 2009 by the Choir of the same name. With this formation he leads numerous musical projects including the performance of the sacred opera for solo choir and orchestra by G. F. Handel whose Anthem on the peace he conducts at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, the first Italian performance.<br \/>\nAt the Cairo Opera House, he conducted the premiere of W. A. Mozart&#8217;s pantomime Pantalone and Columbine following the revisiting and modern-day edition of the score.<br \/>\nNumerous collaborations with orchestras and conductors for solo performances of organ concertos by Handel, Sammartini, Arne, Guilmant, Poulenc and others.<br \/>\nHe is a jury member of organ competitions and the creator and artistic director of the International Concert Festival &#8220;Historic Organs of Vicenza a Heritage to Listen To.&#8221;<br \/>\nHe has recorded for the Ricordi, Tactus, Brilliant, Rivo Alto, Discantica, and Fugatto labels 20 CDs as soloist and conductor receiving awards and recognition from specialized Italian and European magazines, including the &#8220;COUP DE COEUR&#8221; award from the Belgian &#8220;Magazine de L&#8217;orgue&#8221; and the &#8220;Outstanding&#8221; rating from Musica magazine. Often called upon as a specialized consultant for the restoration of ancient and modern organs, he has given the inauguration concert of many instruments including the Rieger organ in the church of St. Savior in Jerusalem.<br \/>\nA member of the diocesan commission of Vicenza for organ art, he has been a tenured professor at the Vicenza Conservatory since 2005.
