ASIAGOFESTIVAL 2026
Asiago is preparing to host the 60th edition of Asiagofestival, a historic music festival that, from July 18 to August 15, 2026, will feature a rich program of concerts, talks, and world premieres, reaffirming its status as a leading event on the national and international music scene.
The opening—which, exceptionally, will take place on July 18 at the Teatro Millepini—will feature a special concert titled“Tribute to Antonio Vivaldi,” presented in collaboration with the “Società del Quartetto di Vicenza,” featuring violinist Chouchane Siranossian, Venetian conductor Andrea Marcon, and the Frau Musika Youth Orchestra.
Among the most anticipated events is the appearance of guest composer Manos Tsangaris, who will take center stage on August 6 and 7 at the Church of San Rocco for the world premiere of his opera dedicated to the City of Asiago and centered on the Cimbrian legend “Altar Knotto.” The two concerts will be followed by the traditional “Meeting with the Guest Composer” on the morning of August 7 in the Council Chamber of Asiago City Hall.
The festival will also pay tribute to its founder, Fiorella Benetti Brazzale, with the event “Women of the Plateau,” scheduled for August 9 at the Millepini Theater, featuring writer and historian Raffaella Calgaro in conversation with Roberto Brazzale.
There will also be a spotlight on great chamber music with the “L’Officina cameristica” project, featuring concerts on August 13 and 14, which will showcase Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang alongside José Gallardo on piano, Tomoko Akasaka on viola, and Julius Berger on cello.
The event will conclude on August 15 at the Cathedral of San Matteo with an organ concert by Alberto Barbetta, winner of the 4th Fiorella Benetti Brazzale – City of Vicenza International Organ Competition.
Sixty years of history and artistic exploration, blending tradition and modernity, make Asiagofestival 2026 an unmissable event, set to celebrate the beauty of music on the enchanting Asiago Plateau.
