Luca Maresca, born in 2000, began his musical journey by studying piano at the age of seven and violin four years later. After graduating from high school with top honors, he began his academic studies at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance in Piano under the guidance of Mauro Harsch. In 2020, he simultaneously began studying the organ with Stefano Molardi, earning a Master of Arts in Music Performance with honors, while continuing his piano studies with Galina Vracheva. He subsequently earned a CAS in Concert Improvisation from the Conservatory of Lugano and completed the Postgradualer Lehrgang at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, in the class of Pier Damiano Peretti. As a soloist, he has performed at prestigious institutions and festivals, including the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn as part of the “Fantasieren im Konzert” series, the Vicenza International Organ Festival, and ROSI (Organ Festival of Italian-Speaking Switzerland). In 2025, he was awarded a prize at the 4th “Fiorella Benetti Brazzale-Città di Vicenza” International Organ Competition. That same year, on the occasion of the centennial of Luciano Berio’s birth, he performed *Fa–Si*, the Italian maestro’s only composition for organ, in a concert organized by the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in collaboration with ROSI. As a continuo player, he participated in December 2025 at the Tremontada Festival in Plovdiv for the performance of the Christmas Oratorio, BWV 248, by Johann Sebastian Bach, and, in March 2026, the *Johannes-Passion*, BWV 245, in Einsiedeln with the Frank Martin Players orchestra conducted by Peter Kooij. He has also performed in a duo with Ismaele Gatti, playing the piano concertos by F. Chopin (Concerto No. 1, Op. 11) and F. Liszt (Concerto No. 2, S. 125). He has participated in masterclasses led by Paolo Vergari, Anna Kravtchenko, and Galina Vracheva for piano, and by Stefano Molardi, Maurizio Croci, Wolfgang Zerer, and Lorenzo Ghielmi for organ. He is currently the organist at the Reformierte Kirchgemeinde der March (Switzerland).
