Bafeltowski Gustaw

He began his musical studies at the age of six in Warsaw. From the very beginning he had the opportunity to experience music in many forms, from orchestral to chamber ensembles. Julius Berger, Marcin Zdunik, Andrzej Bauer, Danjulo Ishizaka, and Steven Doane were important musical influences in his later training. He has won prizes in national and international competitions, the most important of which were the “International Dotzauer Competition” in Dresden, the “International Wilkomirski Competition” in Poznan, and the “International Warchal Competition “Talent for Europe”” in Dolny Kubin. Gustaw has taken part in festivals in Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Italy and China. He is a member of “Jacob Shaw’s Scandinavian Cello School,” from which he has received support since 2008.
