Leonardo Francescon, born in 1996 in the province of Padua, began his musical studies at the age of eleven and two years later entered the Rovigo conservatory “Francesco Venezze” under the guidance of Maestro Raffaele D’Aniello. Subsequently, his musical training is entrusted to Teacher Muriel Chemin with whom he studied for almost five years; he is currently studying with Maria Perrotta at the Conservatory of Venice “Benedetto Marcello” . She has participated in master classes held by maestros Luca Trabucco, Orazio Maione and Roberto Prosseda. He also participated several times in music master classes held in Norcia with maestros Raffaele D’Aniello and Enrico Stellini. Leonardo was a guest of the piano festival “Tattile” held in the city of Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina performing as a piano duo at the “Bosanski Kulturni Centar.” He took part in the national music competitions in Piove di Sacco (Pd) and international in San Donà di Piave (Ve). In February 2017 he participated in the ‘integral performance of Beethoven’s sonatas curated by the teachers of the piano school and some students of the Conservatory of Venice performing also at the Mares Chapel of Villa Ca’ Erizzo in Bassano del Grappa (Vi). Together with Francesca Michelis and Gabriele Tai he forms a trio with which he participated in the “Simultaneo Ensemble 2017” project that allows some chamber ensembles to perform in various venues of the conservatories in the Veneto region.
