Manos Tsangaris
“Here I Am” – Traveling theater—a journey for voices, organ, strings, objects, and lights (2026)
World premiere of the opera composed by Manos Tsangaris for the City of Asiago
To mark the festival’s 60th anniversary and in tribute to its founder, Fiorella Benetti-Brazzale, composer and installation artist Manos Tsangaris has created a minimalist, multi-stage theatrical journey within the Church of San Rocco, exploring the theme of personal sacrifice—in ritual, art, and life—against the backdrop of Cimbrian and Christian-Jewish myths.
The audience, divided into small groups, visits a series of five spaces inside the church, where what matters is each person’s individual perspective. Here we are.
