Dario Michelon
Dario Michelon graduated with honors in piano and composition from the Conservatorio “F. Venezze” in Rovigo. He received a diploma in composition under the guidance of Maestros Andreina Costantini and Nicola Evangelisti. His compositions have been premiered by the New Made Ensemble, the Venezze Orchestra of the Rovigo Conservatory, by himself within the musical season of the Accademia Dei Concordi in Rovigo, in Siena at the Sala della Pinacoteca Comunale by the Quartetto Suonosfera, in Lavarone by the Art Percussion Ensemble, in Ferrara at the Sala della Musica by the Orchestra Sinfonica d’Este, by the Ned Ensemble in Verona at the Montemezzi Auditorium, at the Cesare Pollini Auditorium in Padua and the Verti Auditorium in Modena, at the Teatro Civico in Schio and at the Centro Polifunzionale Zagorà in Zugliano by Crescere in Musica Chamber conducted by Maestro Sergio Gasparella.
In 2019 he won first prize in the 4th Adriatic Lng composition competition for Conservatories in the Veneto region, and in 2022 he was a prizewinner in the Karol Szymanowski International Composition Competition in Ktowice, Poland. He has attended numerous composition masterclasses with maestros StefanoTaglietti, Giovanni Bonato and Ivan Fedele.
