One of the most highly regarded Italian cellists of his generation, Claudio Pasceri has an intense concert activity. His solo repertoire includes concertos by Vivaldi to works by Schnittke, in performances with orchestras such as the Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse, the Camerata Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Arpeggione Kammerorchester. One of his performances of Schumann’s concerto was recorded by Bayerischer Rundfunk in Munich. As a chamber musician, he collaborates with distinguished musicians, including Salvatore Accardo, Pavel Gililov, Ilya Grubert, Dora Schwarzberg, Bruno Giuranna, Rohan De Saram, Rocco Filippini, Irvine Arditti, and Gilles Apap. He regularly holds masterclasses and seminars for European institutions such as Musicalta in Rouffach, the Universitat del Liceu in Barcelona, the Conservatoire Royal in Brussels, the Leopold Mozart University in Augsburg, and the University of Leeds. He taught cello for several years at the Pinerolo Academy of Music. Claudio Pasceri is the artistic director of the EstOvest Festival, a contemporary music festival. He served as Artist-in-Residence at the Reggia di Venaria Reale for the three-year period 2023–2025.
