One of the most highly regarded Italian cellists of his generation, Claudio Pasceri has an intense concert activity. His solo repertoire includes concertos by Vivaldi to works by Schnittke, in performances with orchestras such as the Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse, the Camerata Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Arpeggione Kammerorchester.
A performance of his Schumann concerto was recorded by the Bayerischer Rundfunk in Munich. In chamber music he collaborates with distinguished musicians, including Salvatore Accardo, Pavel Gililov, Ilya Grubert, Dora Schwarzberg, Bruno Giuranna, Rohan De Saram, Rocco Filippini, Irvine Arditti, Gilles Apap. He regularly gives masterclasses and seminars for European institutions such as Musicalta in Rouffach, University of Liceu in Barcelona, Conservatoire Royal in Brussels, Leopold Mozart Universität in Augsburg, Leeds University.
He has been a professor of cello, for several years, at the Pinerolo Academy of Music. Claudio Pasceri is artistic director of EstOvest Festival, a contemporary music event. He is Artist in Residence, for the three-year period 2023/2025, at the Reggia di Venaria Reale.
