He was born in Locri (RC) in 1981 and began studying piano at the age of 7. He graduated at the age of 22 with 10 with honors from the “A.Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto (TV) under the guidance of Maestro Giancarlo Argirò.
He has to his credit numerous public performances, both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles and with orchestra (Locri, Gerace, Gioiosa, Isola di Capo Rizzuto, Porcari (LU), Chioggia, Milan, Conservatorio “B. Marcello” in Venice, Sale Apollinee of Teatro “La Fenice” in Venice, Loggione della Scala in Milan, Berlin, Mannheim, Verona, Ludwigshafen, Rovereto, Verbania, Vicenza, Turin, Rovigo, Padua, Tunisia, Czech Republic). He performed together with the “F. Cilea” Orchestra of the Conservatory of Reggio Calabria in various formations and programs. He participated in the Piano Forum “City of Chioggia” as part of the Festival “Musica in Laguna” event. Here he also performed together with the “Symphony Orchestra of the Chioggia Festival” in W.A. Mozart’s Piano Concerto KV 491 and R.Schumann’s Concerto op.54 in A minor.
He has been perfecting for about eight years with M° Konstantin Bogino, first taking courses at the “Accademia Angelica Costantiniana” in Rome and later attending the Piano Advanced Course at the “Arts Academy” – International Academy of Music in Rome. Here he has the opportunity periodically to attend master classes given by Maestros Svetlana Bogino and Vladimir Ogarkov, piano teachers at the University of Music in Novi Sad (Yugoslavia). He also attended piano master classes held by M°Canino, Pogorelich, Widlund at this Academy. He attended various master classes held by M° Lya De Barberiis, Commendatore of the Italian Republic, Maestro Accademico di Santa Cecilia and the last heir of the Italian piano school of Alfredo Casella and Alessandro Longo. In the 2009/2010 academic year, she took the chamber music course at the Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola, under the guidance of M° Konstantin Bogino.
He has taken part in numerous national and international competitions, always finishing in first place and receiving flattering compliments for his distinct musical sensitivity and great refinement of sound.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Musicology and Musical Heritage with a grade of 110 cum laude from the University of Rome – Tor Vergata, in whose dissertation he analyzed the relationship between color, sound and philosophy in Skrjabin’s post-Helgelian and Promethean conception.
In addition to his Academic career, pursuing a Doctorate in Musicology at the Theater -und Musikwissenschaftliches Institut of the Freie Universität Berlin, he worked as Principal Piano Teacher at the German city music school “Musik und Kunstschule Regenbogen” for two years, teaching in four languages (Italian, English, German and Russian). In Berlin and throughout Germany, he has been performing for about four years, mainly focusing on chamber music. In fact, he performs regularly in piano duo (two pianos and four hands), duo with flute, with cello and in trio with violin and cello, quartet and quintet.
He was selected by the Conservatory of Adria and the Consortium of Conservatories of Veneto to participate in the “Simultaneo Ensemble” event performing in various cities in duo, trio and quintet (Padua, Verona, Vicenza, Rovigo, Castelfranco Veneto, Adria) and to represent the Veneto Region at the 2014 International Book Fair in Turin. He was invited by the National State Conservatory of Tunis to give a piano master class at the International Festival of Hammamet (Tunisia), at the end of which he performed a Recital as a soloist.
As a reviewer and musicologist he has written reviews for Brilliant Classic and edited contemporary scores published by the publishing house “Esarmonia Edizioni”. He wrote reworkings on musicadi Bartok that were premiered as part of the event “Homage to Charles Ives” dedicated to contemporary music and hosted by the “A. Buzzolla” Conservatory of Adria. At this Conservatory he performs as an accompanist pianist.
He attended the higher course of Chamber Music in Duo with Cello at the AccademiaInternazionale di Musica in Rome under the guidance of Maestros K. Bogino and L. Pietrocini. In 2016 he plays in stable formation with Elena Meneghinello (violin) and Alberto Brazzale (cello), the “Trio Torres”. He also obtained the Diploma of the Biennium Level II for Teacher Training – Pianoforte at the Conservatory “A. Buzzolla” in Adria, following which he acquired the qualification to teach piano. He was the winner (first place in Veneto) of the 2016 National Competition for Teachers to teach Piano in Musical High Schools.
