Elena Meneghinello was born in Padua in 1995. She began studying the violin at age 4, attending Suzuki method courses at the Conservatory of Rovigo. She graduated brilliantly at the age of 17 from the Conservatory of Adria with top marks, praise and special mention under the guidance of Maestro Alessandro Simoncini. She is a winner of national and international competitions including X / XII National Competition of Music Schools in Campi Bisenzio -1st prize with scholarship, X National Competition City of Ortona-1st prize, International Competition City of Maccagno-1st prize with scholarship, International Competition “Rovere d’Oro Giovani Talenti” San Bartolomeo -2nd prize. She is also the winner of several scholarships: “Scholarship deserving students” awarded to her by the Conservatorio “F. Venezze” in A.A. 2008/2009 – Kiwanis Club scholarship, young musicians’ music award, awarded to her in 2007, 2009 and 2012, the year in which she was chosen as the best graduate to inaugurate the new academic year by playing the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra op. 35 by Tchaikovski, accompanied by the conservatory orchestra.
From 2003 to 2010 she performed as a soloist with the Orchestra “Giovani Archi Veneti” in Italy and abroad, collaborating with the well-known soprano Luciana Serra. With the same orchestra she is the winner of the following competitions: X° National Competition “Città di Ortona”, XX° International Competition “Rovere d’Oro Giovani Talenti” – San Bartolomeo (IP), III° International Competition “Città di Padova”, II°- III° International Competition “V. De Sabata European Youth Orchestras Contest” always getting the 1st prize in the category.
He participated in several festivals (Ravenna Festival, International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo, Bologna Festival, Abu Dhabi Festival, Mstislav Rostropovich International Festival, XXIX Izmir International Festival, Tokyo Spring Festival), and attended Masterclasses for string quartet and chamber music held by Nuovo Quartetto Italiano. Since 2013 he has been working steadily with the Orchestra Giovanile “L. Cherubini” conducted by Maestro Riccardo Muti, performing in important Italian theaters and on foreign tours (Spain, UAE, Oman, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Japan) collaborating with important soloists including Anne-Sophie Mutter, Rainer Küchl, Franz Bartolomey. With the same orchestra in June 2015, on the occasion of the Republic Day Concert, he played in the Salone dei Corazzieri at the Quirinale Palace in Rome in the presence of the President of the Republic. In 2016 he won the audition called by the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto with which he began to collaborate permanently in numerous concerts.
In chamber music he performed in trio and quartet with piano making his debut in Olomouc, Czech Republic. She has also recorded for the broadcaster “Radio Vaticana” in Rome works by Paganini and Prokofiev for solo violin, and as a soloist she recently performed in a private concert for the Royalty of Japan visiting the International Museum of Music in Bologna.
