Johannes Skudlik, born in Munich and raised in Barcelona, studied organ and conducting in his hometown.
As an organist, Johannes has given concerts in almost every country in Europe, the U.S. and Asia: Tokyo, Boston (Harvard University), as well as at the philharmonic halls of Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Essen, Gdańsk, Hong Kong, St. Petersburg and Tonhalle Zurich, also in the Cathedrals of Munich, Cologne, Trier, London Westminster, Seville, Salamanca, Paris Notre-Dame and St. Bartholomew’s.
As a chamber musician he performs regularly on stage with members of the Berlin Philharmonic and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
As a conductor and soloist he collaborates with the Munich Symphony and Radio Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and the Münchener Bach-Chor.
Johannes Skudlik is founder and artistic director of the Euro-Via Festival, which presents concerts in magnificent venues such as Schloss Neuschwanstein and St. Mark’s in Venice.
