Fredrik Albertsson
Fredrik Albertsson (b. 1970) studied at the Royal University College of Music in Stockholm (1988-1992) and at the School of Music and Musicology at the University of Gothenburg (1992-1994). He was a student of Professors Olle Scherwin and Anders Bondeman in Stockholm, Hans Davidsson in Gothenburg and Jacques van Oortmerssen in Amsterdam. He has also participated in numerous international organ academies in Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands.
He has given concerts in Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, the United States and for Swedish Radio. He regularly collaborates with orchestras, instrumentalists and choirs. He has received numerous awards, including honors from the Royal University College of Music in Stockholm, the municipality of Habo, the Gothenburg Order of Singers, and the cultural award of the city of Vetlanda. Since 2018, he has been organist of Sofia Albertina Church in Landskrona, Sweden, and teaches organ at Sundsgårdens Folkhögskola in Helsingborg and Malmö Musikhögskola at Lund University.
