Ludus Musicae Music Association

It deals with the popularization of music through the development of attentive listening, organizing music courses, lectures, concerts and cultural events, performances and everything related to the world of sounds. Ludus Musicae’s activities are aimed at everyone without age limits (with a special focus on the world of childhood).
At its core, the Association has created a small orchestra, “Ensemble Ludus Musicae,” directed by Elena
Fattambrini and formed by students and teachers of the music school. This was founded in 2002 with the aim of promoting
ensemble music among children and adolescents by offering transcriptions and works from the great repertoire
of the children’s music tradition. In the spring of 2004, the Ensemble produced and performed “The Little Wagon,” a performance of storytelling and music, then performed it in several cities with always considerable success with audiences. Hence the collaboration with Ullallà Teatro Animazione and the creation of the Thiene children’s theater season “Cra,cra,crà!”
Together they then put on the shows “Stories of Water,” “Zumba’s Eyes…the Butterfly’s Dream,” “The Great
Party,” “Sofia the Musician Cow” and “The Best Off,” “Who Kidnapped Santogo’,” “Peter and the Wolf,” “The Symphony of
Toys” , “The Peacock Princess,” “The Street Cleaners,” “Babar the Elephant,” “Story of the Red Priest,” “Stories
of Friendship,” “Blue. The Eaglet with a Fear of Flying,” “Letters from W.A. Mozart,” “Magic Soups,” “Stories from the Great War” with Angela Graziani.
He also collaborates with the great storyteller Roberto Anglisani for the stage music for the show “Enidutilos,” “Topo Federico racconta,” “Favoladaridere,” and with Pino Costalunga with “Quando Findus da piccolo era scomparso” , “The Carnival of Animals,” “Lindgren’s Brats,” “Sandy Wolf,” “Stories of Witches and Ogres Through Italy,” “Little Princess” , “Rhymes in Music.” Other collaborations have been with the company Il libro con gli stivali, Loris Rampazzo and Barabao Teatro.
Ensemble Ludus Musicae has performed in Thiene, Vicenza, Bassano, Val Rovina, Marano, Trevignano (TV), Pordenone, Chiuppano, Camisano, Solagna, Dueville, Lusiana, Sarcedo, Ponte S. Nicolò (PD), Sovizzo, Montebelluna, Zanè, Borgoricco (PD), Rosà, Santorso, Mira (VE), Zugliano, Centrale, Grumolo P., Lugo di Vicenza, Cresole, Campodoro (PD), S. Maria di Sala (VE), Vescovana (PD), Cogollo, Carmignano (PD). From November 2005 to 2010 he was in charge of the organizational-artistic direction of the Thiene Theater-Music and Storytelling Festival “Cra, cra, crà!”,
The Association entirely takes care of the storytelling and music project for targeted listening education “THE CLEANERS OF WAYS”. Since September 2011, it creates and organizes the chamber and baroque music festival “CASTLES AND VILLAS IN
MUSIC THROUGH THE Veneto piedmont” involving numerous institutions and towns in the Veneto Region. Since 2017, he has been in charge of the artistic direction of the new Vicenza Municipal Theater festival “1, 2, 3…it’s my turn!” of storytelling and music.
